Celebrating Renewed Love Stories is a passion of mine.
And it is true that most vow renewals are years or even decades into the marriage. But, even those couples would agree that a vow renewal celebration in the first few, often most difficult, years of marriage is a brilliant concept.
So I was intrigued to learn that Brianna and Dylan were interested in renewing their wedding vows after their first year of marriage. I wanted to do something intimate and unique for these re-newly weds. The design was inspired by the various hues of Indigo.
The movement of fabric and floral mimicked the deep sea at sunset and waters crashing onto rust hued sand. Intimacy was important to the couple as they limited the guest list to their parents and a few close friends.

The hand-dyed, modern invitation suite, crafted by LaneLove Paper Co., foretold what was to come in the design for Brianna and Dylan.
Brianna wore a stunning Stella York gown from Blush Love Bride with a train that was fluid and whimsical.
Her hair was crafted into a loose chignon by Ashley McNabb Artistry that spoke of effortless romance. In addition, her makeup was kept minimalistic to show off her natural beauty.
Dylan donned a powder blue suit that tied in beautifully into their overall Indigo-vibes.
The ceremony and cocktail reception was hosted at The Ostreum, a wedding venue housed in the historic O.B. Macaroni building just south of downtown Fort Worth, TX.
This industrial warehouse gives a hint of mystery and was the perfect setting for the couple to renew their vows.
At the ceremony alter, guests were greeted with an intricate, asymmetrical floral installation full of texture and movement from Alba Dahlia Floral. A hand-dyed backdrop crafted by Sugar Creek Event Rentals floated and moved as the air moved through the room.
Touches of hand-dyed cloth in rusty shades of orange graced the backs of a few ceremony chairs, further creating the romantic soulful vibe.
Brianna walked down the aisle to a Haley Reinhart’s rendition of “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” She carried a bouquet that was artfully arranged in an organic, flowing style that incorporated various shades of rust and creams.
After their vows were exchanged and sealed with a kiss, the couple and their guests transitioned to the intimate cocktail reception that followed.
Amuse Bake Shop crafted a stunning cake for the couple featuring hand-dyed pears in indigo tones. Sweets and champagne were enjoyed by all as family and friend reminisced and toasted to their renewed love.
